Who We Are
The Ephesus Catalytic Partnership is a local manifestation of something God is doing in our generation: bringing together like-minded people to put aside denominational and theological differences and focus on making disciples and planting churches. This "new thing" is happening around the world, and now also in Chicagoland. The Ethne' network began it and we are just one of several Ephesus teams. The Bible says this about the movement in Ephesus: “this went on for two years, so that all the Jews and Greeks who lived in the province of Asia heard the word of the Lord.” How was it that between 12-15 million souls heard the gospel within a two-year period in the Roman Province of Asia? (Acts 19:10) We believe that the Ephesian movement was only possible by multiplicative, indigenous, simple-church planting through broad-based collaborative partnership. As Trinity Evangelical Divinity School Professor Dr. Craig Ott writes in Global Church Planting (Baker, 2011), this didn’t happen by Paul doing all the work himself, but “rather [the amazing results] were most likely the fruit of a dynamic church-planting movement launched from Ephesus” (p. 25). This is the heart cry of our Ephesus partnership. How can we serve you? Ephesus Catalytic Partnership-Chicago |
